The weight I carry, heavy stone, — A burden borne by me alone.

The weight I carry, heavy stone,
A burden borne by me alone.
The world moves on, a rushing stream,
And I am trapped within a dream.
A dream of connection, warm and deep,
While lonely shadows softly creep.
The silent plea, a desperate art,
To find a place, to play a part.
But listen now, a truth profound,
On common ground, we can be found.
A shared sorrow, a hopeful sign,
Makes every burden less than mine.
For in each other, strength resides,
Where empathy forever guides.
